Its been ages since I put pen to paper, words to screen or shared anything on here. I'll ease back in with some of my most listened to mixes and shows of late. I listen to lots of different styles of music and this show is up there, always a go to, without fail always gets my toes tapping and makes me feel good. Aural pleasure: Sneer Funk

Everytime I write on this blog its always been too long since I last did. It seems sometimes things slip to the wayside when they are the very things you want to be doing most. Does anyone agree?             Its time to put more focus and energy into them, I mean it seems so obvious but not always totally what happens. 

I have had this compilation on repeat since I first heard it and been wanting to share it for a while now but have only just got round to it.

It is a compilation on Sneer Records based in Funklantis, United States, a label which includes Electro, Modern and Future Funk, Electronica, hip-hop and much more awesomeness. The label is founded and curated by Brett Eclectic, who is definitely worth checking out. His track Ultimate Freak Delight (Feat. Zackey Force Funk) is featured on the compilation and its one of my favourites, along with the track from Altered Gee - Fadeaway, it is dreamy to the maximum. There is a lovely bit of linkage at the bottom so you can peruse for yourself.

I love this compilation as its full of great artists, so many different styles, upbeat numbers and more downtempo dreamy tracks. There isn't a tune I want to skip and there are tunes I want to repeat, always a winning combination.

Aural pleasure: Nialler9 mix series Timmy Stewart and Colin Perkins

Todays beauty comes from Nialler9 mix series by Timmy Stewart and Colin Perkins and it is a rare treat of disco, funk, house and ass shaking numbers, did I just invent a new genre?
 The whole mix has been on repeat for the last few days and thought I would share the wealth with whoever cares to read/listen!
If anyone does wrap their ears around this and know the tune that comes in at 1hr10min (50 dollar bills) please be a gem and let me know.

Aural pleasure: Man Power

This mix came up on my stream this morning and it joined me at the gym, it was thoroughly enjoyable but possibly would be even better over a larger soundsystem with a bit of dancing. I am sure given a little time I shall find out. In the meantime, you can give it a listen yourself.

Hope everyone has had a good week and preparing themselves nicely for the week ahead.

I found this beauty last week on a delightful bus journey and it made the trip a lot brighter. It seems whilst finding it I also stumbled upon a new set of music entirely, as this one comes from a series of podcasts called Musicis4Lovers.

Hello 2018!

Happy 2018, after a little radio silence, I am back with some beauties, in my eyes obviously, and hopefully anyone that may peruse this blog will agree too. Words are not massively my forte, so I'll try and keep them to a minimum and tunes to the maximum. 

This blog has been a space for me to share some of my musical discoveries, likes and loves, although, there has been none of that of late.  I'll begin bit by bit, see what starts to take shape and where the momentum flows. 

If you have any recommendations send them my way too.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          In the meantime, here is a set from Andres, its a delight, as are all his mixes, to be honest.
